Dra. Lindsay Ryan, Attorney at Law.  Specialist in Environmental & Administrative Codes & Regulations.  Dr. Ryan graduated from the Universidad Escuela Libre de Derecho in 2007, where she was Rosario Araya’s classmate.  She obtained her master’s and doctoral degrees in environmental law from the Universitat Rovira, Virgili, Spain.  Incorporated into the Costa Rica Bar Association, 2007.  Dr. Ryan is an environmental lawyer with 15-plus years of relevant national and international experience in advising individual clients, private companies and Non- governmental organizations on the identification, scope and compliance of environmental legislation (water resources, protected areas, maritime zone, wetlands, waste management, wastewater, renewable energy, among others). Dr. Ryan is also a certified auditor of ISO environmental, quality and occupational health standards and Training Leader on Ocean Governance for the International Ocean institute (IOI) for Latin America. Married, her hobbies include surfing, Himalayan medicine, and exercise.  Bi-lingual, Spanish and English.  Clients call her Lin or Lindsay.
